While a single clinician may be capable of providing effective care in some circumstances, events are dynamic environments where patient treatment, communications, equipment management, scene coordination, documentation, and escalation may need to occur simultaneously.
By deploying a minimum of two personnel, we help ensure that patient care can continue safely and effectively when events do not go to plan.

The Council's Public Register allows members of the public, event organisers, employers, and healthcare providers to verify a clinician's registration status, practising status, scope of practice, and any conditions that may apply.
When engaging medical services for an event, organisers should ensure that anyone presented as a Paramedic holds current registration and an Annual Practising Certificate appropriate to their role.
In New Zealand, a person must be registered with Te Kaunihera Manapou Paramedic Council and hold a current Annual Practising Certificate to lawfully practise as a Paramedic.
